Artificial intelligence needs compute. Compute needs power. Power needs infrastructure. And increasingly, intelligence is moving beyond the screen and into the physical world.
Healthcare technology, particularly where transformative approaches meet exceptional teams tackling consequential problems. And select operating businesses outside technology, which the family has long been involved in.
These are interests, not a mandate. Leadership, trust, and whether the problem is worth solving matter more than the category it sits in.
Investment focus →I opened my first computer store in Detroit at twenty-one. I spent the next three decades building a cybersecurity company. After it was acquired, I helped build and lead the global cybersecurity organization for the company that bought it.
Then I stepped away. I was finished being a CEO. I was nowhere near finished with technology.

Roughly two pieces a month, published when there is something worth saying. First person, and comfortable ending on “I don’t know yet.”
